History  

Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions, originally known as Sandwich Isle Termite & Pest Control, Inc., was founded in 1997 by Michael J. Botha. Before moving to Hawaii in 1991, Michael grew up working for his family’s termite and pest control company in South Africa. His father, Peter Botha owned and ran that company for over 40 years, before joining Michael at Sandwich Isle Termite and Pest Control, Inc. in Hawaii. Beginning as a one man operation in 1997, the company has grown to become one of the most successful full service pest control companies in Hawaii by providing outstanding customer service at a fair price, and by guaranteeing all of its services.

Copesan Pest Solutions Service Partner

In 2003 Sandwich Isle became Copesan’s Hawaii Region Partner. Copesan is an alliance of regional pest management companies that are united as a single entity for the sole purpose of providing quality pest solutions to business locations throughout North America. As a member of Copesan, Michael J. Botha was invited to join the Copesan Technical Committee where we have the opportunity to network and share information with some of the industries leading entomologists and pest management professionals. This association with Copesan provides Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions all of the benefits of being associated with one of the largest national pest management companies in the world, while still operating independently as a privately owned and managed company. Our partnership with Copesan gives us the ability to service chain accounts anywhere in North America, including Canada and Mexico. We can provide standardized pricing, service protocols, training, reporting and billing nationwide.
