If you were to look up the definition of "professional" you would find that its only qualifying trait is that one must engage in a specified activity as one's main occupation, rather than as a pastime or hobby. If this is the case, there are a lot of professional pest control companies in Hawaii. But, at Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions, we strive to be something more than this. We believe that it isn't enough to just transcend doing pest control as a pastime. We believe that our customers deserve to have the most effective and complete pest control for their homes, businesses, and municipalities. But, keeping pests at bay is no easy task. It requires dedicated study and continual communication with the community of professionals across the country who also dedicate themselves to this profession and this science.
Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions has always strived for excellence, professionalism and distinction. Industry-leading pest solutions isn't just a goal, it is a legacy. Owner, Michael Botha is a third-generation pest specialist, whose family owned HILO Fumigations in the Republic of South Africa for over forty years. How does a pest control company grow in excellence, professionalism and distinction? By becoming part of something bigger--something grander than itself. Through hard work, education and a continued focus on achievement, excellence, professionalism and distinction are possible.
Michael Botha, owner of Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions, accepted two nominations this week for committee positions with the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), a non-profit organization that serves the pest management industry and boasts more than 7,000 members worldwide. These appointments, one for Fumigation Committee and one for Super Committee, will run from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
Local pest management professional, Michael Botha met with Senator Mazie Hirone's staff of Hawaii, representing the pest management industry on March 19th in Washington, D.C.
