We are presently offering a $500 Sign On Bonus to applicants that are presently employed by, or have recently left another licensed pest management company in Hawaii.

Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions is growing rapidly and we are looking to add a new member to our high performance outside sales team. We have an immediate opening for a motivated self starter who is looking for a career with the leaders in pest management in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in outside residential sales. We offer training opportunities for highly motivated applicants with no experience in the pest management industry.

Position Description: The purpose of this position is to close sales to residential prospects by identifying pest problems and selling pest management solutions in a manner that enables the company to make a profit, increase market share, and to increase its sales volume. Our goal is to build long term mutually beneficial relationships with our customers and employees, and provide a superior service experience beginning with the first sales call. An Outside Sales Representative is expected to be capable of cold calling and self generating leads in addition to following up on company generated leads.

Your Daily Responsibilities include: - Generating and closing sales!

  1. Establishing new customer contacts, prospect for fresh leads, follow up all leads, write and submit proposals, and network with new prospects and stay abreast of activities in the market.

  2. Keep up to date on all company products and services as well as regulatory requirements.

  3. Making inspections, preparing estimates, and submitting professional proposals.

  4. Must document and communicate daily sales activities according to company policies and procedures. Must be capable of learning and fully adopting company's sales software programs and electronic handheld devices.

  5. Work cooperatively with all team members to deliver the best customer experience possible.

  6. Provide above average service and follow up to your prospects.

  7. Consistently meet sales goals.

  8. Must be able to close sales and meet daily sales activity goals.

Experience and knowledge: -Having a great attitude is more important than experience!

Should have one to three years of sales/service experience to residential customers. Must have above average communication skills, both written and oral. Perseverance, willingness to work hard and the ability to listen well to the customer are necessary qualities. Must have a great attitude and have the ability too identify the customers needs. A good sense of humor and a thick skin are helpful.

Successful applicant will be a self starter. A high school education and two to four years of college, or the equivalent experience, is required. Experience working alone with indirect supervision is preferred. Must be readily able to take and carry out instructions. Must be capable of bending, stooping, kneeling and lots of walking. Must be able to lift and carry weights up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to drive an automatic or standard shift vehicle. Must have valid driver license and produce a motor vehicle record showing three (3) or less chargeable violations over the past three (3) years.

Requirements: Great Attitude (do you see a pattern?) Clean drivers abstract. High School Diploma, willing and able to work > 40 hours per week, Travel occasionally. Successful applicants will be clean cut, be able to speak, read and write in English fluently and will create a professional first impression. Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.

Work attire: Business uniform will be issued

Benefits: Vacation, Holidays, Medical, Dental, 401k, Vehicle is provided for work purposes after training period.

Compensation: Guaranteed salary of $15.00 per hour (plus up to 10% sales commission on all sales over $12,000/month) for the first 90 days. Once you pass your Certification, by the end of 90 day training period, the hourly trainee rate will terminate and income will be commission only with a draw on commissions up to $1,500 per month draw, plus sales commission. The income potential during the first year is $50,000.00 plus. Our seasoned salesmen earn over $70,000 per year.

$1,500.00 - 90 Day Performance Bonus: Sell >$30,000.00 in new business during your first 90 days of employment to qualify for an additional $1,500.00 performance bonus, over and above your regular pay and sales commission.
